I’ve spent the last 16+ years working at the intersection of technology, cybersecurity, and risk, helping organizations modernize their environments, improve resilience, and make smarter decisions about technology.
Today, I lead Technology Risk Management at Arab National Bank, where I oversee strategic initiatives that align with SAMA’s frameworks and international standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT, and NIST. My role covers governance, non‑financial risk (NFR), third‑party risk, and operational resilience; all of which are increasingly critical for banks operating under heightened regulatory and operational expectations.
My career has taken me through multiple industries and leadership roles, from building IT and security capabilities at Dabbagh Group and United Matbouli Group, to strengthening information security and risk practices at Saudi National Bank. Along the way, I’ve learned how to translate technical risk into business language, negotiate with diverse stakeholders, and lead teams through complex change.
In parallel to my full‑time role, I also work as a Cybersecurity & Technology Advisor, supporting organizations at different stages of maturity with strategy, architecture, governance, and control enhancement initiatives. I enjoy partnering with leadership teams and boards to simplify complexity, enable secure digital transformation, and enhance resilience across people, processes, and technology.
At my core, I enjoy mentoring, leading cross‑functional efforts, and simplifying complex risk problems into practical action. Outside of work, I continue to explore emerging fields, including AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity innovation, and how they can be used to strengthen resilience and unlock new value.
